JAMES C. SCHAEFFER

Jim graduated from San Joaquin College of Law with distinction. He is an experienced trial lawyer who represents physicians and other healthcare providers in professional negligence matters and is a frequent speaker at medical and legal conferences. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Prior to joining forces with Bill Boyce to form BOYCE SCHAEFFER LLP, Jim was a partner for many years in a major San Diego medical malpractice firm where he headed the firm’s Ventura County office.
In his free time, Jim enjoys playing the piano, as well as skiing and camping.
