WILLIAM R. BOYCE

Bill has lived in Southern California since the age of six.  He was a child actor in his youth, appearing in motion pictures and television.

While attending law school from 1978 to 1981, Bill worked in Business Affairs and Finance at NBC in Burbank, California.  He then became Director of Operations of IDC Services, a diversified financial and production services company serving the entertainment industry, and later Vice President and General Manager of DISC Management Services, a subsidiary of Lorimar Productions.  Despite his busy work schedule, Bill graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in 1981 with high honors.

Bill is a very experienced trial attorney.  Prior to joining with James Schaeffer in forming BOYCE SCHAEFFER LLP, he was a partner in a statewide firm specializing in the defense of medical malpractice matters.

He has a national reputation as a trial attorney and is frequently asked to consult on and try cases in other states.  Through twenty-six years of continuous trial practice and over seventy-five jury trials, Bill has never lost a case. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

In his spare time, Bill and his wife Sue serve on the Board of Directors of various charities, and when time permits, he enjoys travel, theater and an occasional round of golf.
